Two Trades and an eBay Bucks Mailday

Three packages came in on Friday totaling 170 more Cubs cards. Two packages arrived via trade and one was an eBay purchase using eBay Bucks.

With the recent release of Topps Heritage Minors, I came up empty finding Cubs parallels and variations. So, I went shopping armed with eBay Bucks. The first card that arrived was the magenta back of Nelson Velazquez.

Jeff from Toronto sent 94 Cubs cards. A really nice 1972 Topps Ferguson Jenkins, as well a 2003 Leaf Certified Materials Corey Patterson. The back is stamped with "SAMPLE." This is a card I'll have to Google to find more information on. I had been out of the collecting game from about 2000 to 2005.

Brett in Manchester, Indiana sent over 74 Cubs cards. Two cards were new to the collection.

I'm a big fan of XFractors, and this 2009 Bowman Chrome Xfractor of Jeff Samardzija is a new one for me.

This is also the first 2014 Diamond Kings Starlin Castro. I'll be sending Brett some Reds cards in return.
