Two for Tuesday: Filling Some Set Needs for Collectors
Two packages totaling just under 200 Cubs cards came in the mail Tuesday. Bob in Schaumburg, Illinois and Bob from Indiana sent some Cubs in exchange for some set needs in a deal made in a Facebook group.
Schaumburg Bob sent 117 Cubs cards that are all apart of my collection, but in my pursuit of a million Cubs cards duplicates are always welcome. I shipped out a stack of 1984 Topps to Bob to help him finish that set.
Indiana Bob and I exchanged Cubs for Yankees. This deal included some better than commons. I sent off a few Aaron Judge and Miguel Andujar cards. The highlight of my Cubs package is a short print 2017 Topps Ernie Banks.
This Donruss Optic Ian Happ catches my eye because it's new to me, and it's pretty shiny.
A serial numbered 2017 Topps. This is a World Series Stories Insert numbered 72/250.
Indiana Bob also sent a stack of Ryne Sandberg's. There may be a few new to my collection. One card I know is new is this 1994 Studio Heritage Collection Insert. I love the matte finish.
