From Adams, Terry to Zambrano, Eddie
My Chicago Cubs baseball collection is mainly being sorted by player last name. It’s definitely a work in progress, and it was one of my collecting goals to sort 1,000 cards per day. It’s been difficult to sort 1,000 Cubs cards a month as it’s been far down the priority list to this point.
A few traders have sent me boxes....sorted by last name! It’s certainly not necessary, but is greatly appreciated. My latest trade box arrived Thursday before I left town and contained 330 Cubs baseball cards...sorted by last name.
From Terry Adams on this 1997 Topps card.
All the way to Eddie Zambrano and his 1994 Fleer Ultra rookie card.
And many more Cubs in between like a pile of Scott Sanderson cards. May he rest In peace.
Not to focus on death, but former Chicago Cubs manager Frank Lucchesi passed away over the weekend at age 92. He had a brief run as the team’s skipper in 1987.
There was a new addition to my collection. The Hawk! A Sports Illustrated for Kids card of Andre Dawson. I believe this card is from a 1989 magazine.
