Barret Loux Autograph and Some 1974 Topps Traded

New Hampshire checked in on Tuesday with a package from Daniel. A total of 113 Cubs baseball cards were inside.

Right off the bat, a stack of hits! Check out this 2013 Bowman Platinum Barret Loux autograph. Loux was the sixth overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. The pitcher made it all the way to Triple-A Iowa in his third professional season, but never did get a cup of coffee in the big leagues.

Mr. Cub serial number! An Ernie Banks 2005 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts numbered 389/399.

I don't have too many of the colored retail parallels from 2019 Topps. Meijer had retail purple parallels. The yellow parallels were in Walgreen's. Pedro Strop yellow parallel.

This is a futuristic card of Brooks Kieschnick from 1997.

I'm probably in the minority, but I love Topps Gallery. From the "older" days of Gallery, this Sean Marshall rookie card is from 2005.

The first Topps card of Sammy Sosa in a Cubs uniform. This is from 1992 Topps Traded. Sosa had been traded to the Cubs from the White Sox at the end of March 1992.

Throwing it back with Topps Traded. 1974 Topps had it's own Traded set, and Steve Stone is one of the Cubs featured in all its airbrushed glory. Horacio Pina and George Mitterwald were also airbrushed Cubs.
